Utilities

Utilities can also be described as administrative functions and there are three. To see them, click on the Utilities tab at the top of the page.

 

The first tool gives you the option of downloading your name and/or gift records in a Comma Separated Values (CSV) format. While this is not required, it does give you the ability to store that information as a back up.

 

 

Click either the Names to CSV or Gifts to CSV button and a line will appear with a link allowing you to download the file.

 

eDenari uses the donor's email to check for duplicates when making donations through your DIY pages. If it finds a potential duplicate, it will alert the donor and encourage them to request an email to get their password and/or change their password. So while duplicate name records should be kept to a minimum, they do happen for a variety of reason. You can merge duplicate name records in the Merge Duplicates section of the Utilities page.

 

 

Simply select the name record to Keep and the one to Merge and click the Merge Duplicate Names button. The gifts and pledges and other relevant information will be merged into one record while using the address information from the record that you have chosen to keep.

 

Only one person can be logged into your eDenari company per user record so you will want to create separate records for staff members. You can do that in the Add New User section of the Utilities page.

 

 

You can edit an existing user record by clicking the Edit button to the right of that user's record or click Add New User to create a new record.

 

 

The fields on this page are fairly intuitive with one exception, the User Type field. The Admin option gives this user complete access to all feature in the software. The Data Entry option gives this use access only to the non-administrative features.
