Reports

Reports are primarily intended to provide information for internal staff members. The information can be about giving patterns of specific donors as well as gifts to fund codes, appeal codes, etc. There are reports that provide information about volunteers and interest codes.

 

This report feature can serve either as an internal report or a way to communicate with your donors. It produces a list of names based on a set of filters that you select. Click on the Communication tab and you will find the List Selection of Names at the top of the page.

 

 

NONE of the filter options on the page are required. You will only use the filters that you need to produce your list of names. The way to use this report can best be explained through examples...

 

Example 1: You want a list of names of people who have given to a specific Appeal Code. Check the Given To Appeal check box and select the appeal code in the drop down field to the right.

 

Example 2: Get a list of names who are Current Donors. Check the Current Donors check box.

 

Example 3: Produce a list of names that have given to a specific Appeal Code and are Current Donors. Check both the Given To Appeal box and the Current Donors check box.

 

Example 4: Get a list of names with a Special Interest. Click the long Special Interest field to see a list of all of your codes. Select one or more by holding down the CTRL key on your key board and selecting as many as you need. You will get anyone who has one of those codes. You can do the same with Volunteer Codes.

 

Example 5: Produce a list of names that have said they are available to volunteer on Wednesday in the morning. Check the Wednesday  AM box.

 

Example 6: Get a list of names that have said they are available to volunteer on Wednesday in the morning and who are Current Donors. Check the Wednesday  AM box and the Current Donors check box.

 

Output Options: There are two ways to output the list of names identified by your filter criteria.
