End of Year Tax Statements
The End of Year Tax Statement is both a tax document and an opportunity to thank your donors. The default layout includes a letter body that you can create in the Letters section. Below that, it lists all gifts by that donor in the previous year. The statements are then emailed to your donors. To run the statements, click on the Communication tab at the top of the page. This page contains several communication options. Scroll down to the End of Year Tax Statement section.
Letter Body
Select the letter body that you have already set up in Letters. It will appear near the top of the statement following the donor's name and address fields and Salutation.
Click the button to send the statements. You will be presented with a warning message asking you to confirm the action but once confirmed, eDenari will immediately begin sending the emails. Statements will go to all donors who made donations 'Last Year'.
If you would like to modify the layout of the template you can click this button. The page includes an option to send a test email so that you can view your changes before sending to everyone. You can also restore back to the default template if needed.
