Mobile Page

DIY pages provides the ability to create donation, confirmation, peer to peer, and volunteer pages suitable for mobile devices such as a smart phone or tablet. When a donor accesses the full version page using your provided URL the software will recognize when the device is a mobile device and display your mobile version of the page.

Start by creating the full version page as you normally would. (See Donation Page, Confirmation Page, Volunteer Page, and Peer To Peer Page, for more information.) Next, create the mobile version as a separate page. Below is a sample of what the top of the page might look like.

Right-click in an empty space inside the page and choose Edit HTML.

The recommended page width for most smart phones is 360 pixels so change that setting to 360. Click Close. Layout the rest of the page so that it looks the way you want.

Now move to the Manage This Page section in the upper left corner of the Layout Editor.

In the Mobile Page section click to move the switch from No to Yes. To the right, click the drop down and choose the Full Size version of your donation, P2P, and Volunteer page. This provides the connection between the full version and the mobile version. When a donor clicks the link for the full version, eDenari will determine if the user is on a computer with a full size browser screen or a mobile browser screen displays the appropriate version.

You can create a mobile version for donation pages, confirmation pages, peer to peer pages, and volunteer pages in the same way.
